I'm familiar with locations. I'm looking for what type of environment fluorite can be found in.
Caves, sediments, river beds?
Please help! Thanks :)

Fluorite may occur as a vein deposit, especially with metallic minerals, where it often forms a part of the gangue (the surrounding "host-rock" in which valuable minerals occur) and may be associated with galena, sphalerite, barite, quartz, and calcite.

I know it can be found in granite and has been found in places such as England, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Ontario, Mexico and Canada. You can also found them in the United States of America and the states where the occurrence of fluorite happens include Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, Arizona and Texas.
