West Coast Tsunami
NYC Hurricane
Mega Drought
Yellowstone Eruption
East Coast Tsunami
L.A.'s Killer Quake
Gamma Ray Burst
Mega Freeze/Ice Age
Glacier Meltdown
Asteroid/Comet Strike
Oil Apocalypse

Interesting sites propose how the "end of the world" will happen, or at least the next MAJOR disaster. Which do you think is the most likely? Doesn't have to be a "life" killer or anything, more or less which is most likely, how soon, or have the worst effect.

None of the above. The earth will still be there with lots of life on it.

Remember - the Earth had life on it for 3.5 billion years before man. It had life on it for 3 billion years before there was any multicellular life.

Like the questioner asks, he is not looking for the world ending event which could be the Asteriod/comet strike, or Gamma ray burst both of which are the least likely to occur, but what from the list is most likely to occur. The most likely to occur is Glacier meltdown which if you just read the news is already happening. Most of the glaciers in the world are melting back. Very few are advancing. But it will take 50 to 100 years to become catastrophic for the world. For certain regions it will become very serious long before then. Of course if we haven't taken significant steps to curb global warming by then well we will all be toast.
