Im doing a freyer model and I need non-examples of "convection currents". Please give as many examples as possible. (:

A convection current is circular ( start and end in relatively the same place ). They and a mass transfer to exchange heat from hot to cold.
There are several examples of regular currents, those that do not take heat transfer into consideration.
- Any River has currents
- Waves coming into shore ( longshore currents )
- Rip tides ( rip currents )
These are also some examples of heat transfer without Convection
- Solar Radiation
- Volcanoes ( they move heat from the subsurface onto the surface )

Let's try D) the process of convection. Just for fun. Salt water acts differently in different temperatures. It sinks when it gets warmer in the south and rises when it gets colder in the north. Temperature also greatly affects our jet stream. Wait a minute temperature creates our jet stream. So rotation of our planet may explain why our weather paterns come from the west in north america but it fails to explain why our hurricanes can head west. If you ask me i Say temperature and the moons pull have the greatest affects on our weather patterns

I don't understand what a "non-example" of a convection current is. Do you mean conduction and radiation, the two other types of heat energy? Do you mean something that somehow looks like convection, but isn't?
Could you ask again with more information, please?
