Exactly... Half of these i can actually Google and get answers. But i'm sure you can do that instead of me wasting my time while thats something you can do.

Dude... you even ran out of room to ask your own homework questions!! Pick up a book for the next 25 that didn't fit. These are absurdly easy.

(1) Yes, I can.

(2) Topographic map using contour lines.

(3) One variable.

(4) All of the above - use, build on, and redo (confirm).

(5) Delta.

(6) The amount of rock and other materials that a stream carries.

(7) Its erosive power decreases due to less energy.

(8) A stream that feeds another stream or lake.

(9) Gradient.

(10) Oxbow lake.

(11) Runoff.

(12) Watershed.

(13) An alluvial fan forms in water, and a delta forms on land (it actually *forms* land).

(14) Good drainage. It floods because it can't drain.

(15) Groundwater flowing through cracks in rocks, thus dissolving minerals.

(16) They all bring groundwater to Earth’s surface.

(17) Geysers and hot springs.

(18) Chemical weathering.

(19) Saturation.

(20) Permeable.

(21) Groundwater.

(22) Zone of saturation. Wasn't this just covered in #19?

(23) All of the above; condensation, precipitation, evapotranspiration.

(24) Conservation and alternative methods of obtaining fresh water.

Pay attention in class and crack open your textbook. A man with half his brain removed could have answered these questions. Perhaps you're a lost cause because I just did these for you?

Hi, I'm taking the earth science regents too! I know some of the answers to your questions. 1) We can only see the same side of the moon because the moon's period of rotation and period of revolution are the same. So, try to visualize this in your head, since the period of rotation/revolution are the same, we never see the "dark side" or back side of the moon. 2) In a solar eclipse, the order of the celestial objects are sun, moon, earth, in a straight line . Only then can the moon's shadow fall on Earth. (new moon phase) In a lunar eclipse, the order is sum, earth, moon. The sun lights up 50% of Earth, and then the moon is able to fall into the shadow of the Earth. (full moon phase) 3) I'm not really sure about this one. 4) You need to look for correlations, and index fossils need to be in a widespread geographic location, and be alive for a short period of time. These characteristics make for the best index fossil Look in the geographic history chart in the ESRT for more help with the fossils. 5) Igneous- molten rock has cooled and solidified, forming an igneous rock. If cooled deep in Earth's interior, then there are large crystals. If cooled on or near Earth's surface, then there are small crystals. Sedimentary- sediments that have been deposited, buried, then compacted and/or cemented together. usually looks earthy, can have fossil imprints. Only sedimentary rocks can have fossil imprints. Metamorphic- rocks that have undergone severe heat and pressure. You might see banding (swishes) or foliation (stacked look) I hope this helps! You are sure to do well on the Earth Science Regents exam. Good luck! :)
